Cleaning London
Immaculate Exteriors provides an expert brick, stone
and concrete cleaning service for domestic and

masonry surfaces by jet washing with super-heated water,

or VorTech (from Restorative Techniques) systems
 
ACID CLEANING OF BRICKS
STAINED WITH CEMENT
On the above project the owner had had
some re-pointing done that stained the bricks. We cleaned
off all stains and brought out the colour in the bricks.
Brick, stone, concrete and rendered surfaces in
London can suffer from serious effects years of
atmospheric pollution. Masonry becomes stained black
with carbon, either darkening the appearance of the
entire building or creating uneven patches on the
façade. Staining can also be caused by poor pointing
which results in the bricks or stone being marked with
cement. We can resolve this problem using acid cleaning.
We are so used to seeing the
effects of pollution on our environment in London that
we forget that brick and stone can bring attractive
colour to our gardens and streets. Restoring the surface
and bringing these colours back out from behind the grey
really transforms the appearance of a property.

We clean brick, stone, concrete
and render, restoring the surfaces so that they look as
good as possible and dramatic transformations are just
about always achieved. However, as masonry is porous and
may have absorbed stains over the years, we do not claim
to be able to return surfaces to “as new” condition.

On the above project we worked
through the night on an office building situated above
Bond Street tube station to clean all brick and stone on
the facades.
